Paul Lee, vocals and guitar, is the composer/songwriter of NeptuneJam’s original songs. When playing covers, he adds his own flavor. His musical creativity and passion has created a buzz in the local Brooklyn music scene and is growing. He’s been playing many solo acts from Miami to Lake George. Paul has been influenced by Dylan, Sting, Neil Young, Jeff Beck, Joe Satriani, and Eric Johnson.
Paul Lee and Anthony Latorre, drummer, met by chance in 2009, by the ocean, and formed NeptuneJam, a rock ‘n roll/ blues band. A speed, demon drummer, Anthony’s influences include rock, reggae, funk, blues, jazz, and country. He has played in numerous clubs and rock venues with bands like, Aviation, Conspiracy and Icon Killer. He has experience in recording studios and cruise ship tours
Bass guitarist, Norbert Marius has performed with the Fifth Dimension, Melba Moore, Screaming Headless Torsos, and many others. Besides the U.S., Norbert has performed in Europe and Japan. He also produces instrumental and vocal tracks. Bass guitarist, Lou Echevarria,Sr. adds a driving force and touch of sophistication with his funky beats and jazz influences.
Billy B, a/k/a "Double B," Billy "Blue" Blend and also know as just "Blendini," is the band's newest edition on keyboard adding new dynamics to their sound. He is a fixture on the New York blues scene, as well as a multi-instrumentalist crossing many musical genres. Along with a busy live schedule playing with many of the greats, Billy is at work in his Blendini Studio as a recording artist and creator/composer of new music.
The band has played at Cha Cha’s, Ruby’s, Coney Island Bar & Grill (formerly Bratva's), The Grill House, 773 Lounge, Peggy O’Neill’s, Kettle Black, Three Jolly Pigeons, National Underground, Old Carriage Inn, Wheelers.... They volunteered for the 2010 International Cultural Festival in midtown Manhattan, played at BayFest2011 & BayFest2012 in Sheepshead Bay, Brighton Beach Jubilee, 2011 (& booked for 2012) ,and participate in Make Music New York.
